From the Watts area of Los Angeles the Whispers were the first group signed to the Solar (Sound Of Los Angeles Records) Record label and with Hits such as ‘And The Beat Goes On’, ‘It’s A Love Thing’ and ‘Lady’ the band were really on the up.

"Love Is Where You Find It” features the Top 10 R&B Dance classic ‘In The Raw’ and the single ‘Emergency’ and on the "Love
To Love” album you find the Top 5 R&B singles ‘Keep On Lovin’ Me’ and ‘Tonight’.
This was a real purple patch for the group.
