Kelly Marie was born in Paisley, Scotland as Jacqueline McKinnon. It was during a successful spell on the hit TV talent show 'Opportunity Knocks', winning four times as Keli Brown that was to result in her signing up to Pye Records. This led to a string of hits across Europe. It was in 1980 when Kelly stormed the UK charts with the Ray Dorset (Mungo Jerry) penned "Feels Like I'm In Love", peaking a #1 selling 500,000 copies in the UK alone.
