Superb 1984 Album from John Davis, the singer, bass player, composer and producer. He has been in a
number of bands and been known by many aliases.
On this album the music and lyric duties were
shared between John and Reginald Derrick Hudson. This combination brings together the sublime soul/funk mix
that John Davis fans are used to hearing.
In 1985 John teamed up with Eddie Greene to form the band Spank, and they
wrote and produced the album “Spank You!” another album that is much sort after by Davis music lovers.
Maybe the one thing John will look back and try to forget
is his involvment at the end of the 80’s when he was named as one of the “Real Milli Vanilli”
singers. This was the scandal that was headline news in the early 90’s when it was discovered that the two “lead singers” didn’t actually sing any part of the songs that had become hits.
