Cool, classy work from the great Irene Reid – a set that's got all the deep soul vocals of her previous albums, but also a nicely jazzy vibe, too – one that gives Reid a sophisticated style that almost feels a bit like Marlena Shaw or Nancy Wilson in the way the tunes take off – even though Irene is very much her own woman throughout! 
Arrangements are by Bert Keyes, and the record's got a number of original tunes written by producer Buddy Scott – nicely fresh material that has this laidback, mature vibe that's mighty nice – as Irene steps slinkily into the lyrics on titles that include "Two Of Us", "Treat Me Good", "I'll Get You Over", "No Yesterday", and "Brand New Me"
