Garland Green began performing in Chicago clubs and in 1967 performed in concert for Lou Rawls, a milestone in his career. From this event he landed his first record deal and in 1969 his single 'Jealous Kind Of Fella' reached the Top 5 in the R&B Chart selling a million copies.
Leon Haywood was the producer on board here for this one RCA album in 1977, recorded in Los Angeles and issued here for the first time on CD, including two additional tracks previously only released as singles.
Album includes two of his most enduring songs among soul fans, 'Let Me Be Your Pacifier' and 'I've Quit Running The Streets'.
