Bar-Kays – Dangerous released on Mercury Records April 1984. This album would chart at number seven on the Billboard Soul Album charts.
The album contains three strong singles releases like “Freakshow on the Dance Floor” an integral part of the film Breakin’ with elements from Midnight Starr’s “No Parking on the Dancefloor”.
Followed by the mid-tempo groover “Dirty Dancer,” inspired on Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean”.
Third single was “Sexomatic” following quite happily Prince’s purple footsteps.
