The 80s is without a doubt the most important musical decade of the 20th century. Never before had so many cultural phenomenons and musical styles co-existed. At the same time, this was the epoque when the disco culture began to use 12¨, those 45 RPM vinyls that contained special ´extended´ versions made to satisfy the yuppie culture that infiltrated both the European and American club scene. A new art form was born, the ´maxi version´ created especially for really great songs you just don´t want to end.
This album is the result of a long and arduous struggle to reunite a number of those first remixes together on one disc. It is a retrospective of the best of the 80s, true hymns, some of which have even gone out of print. It is with great pride that Music Brokers presents this special edition, that will surely by a ´must have´ for lovers of that golden decade
