This album was Philip Bailey's first solo album that was released on Columbia/CBS Records in 1983,
right after the super R&B/Pop/Jazz/Funk group Earth, Wind & Fire took a break from their longtime success
(and disappointing sales from the "Electric Universe" album). This album was produced by George Duke
for George Duke Enterprises, and it features musical contributions from Nathan East on bass, James Gadson
& Ricky Lawson on Drums, Paulinho da Costa on Percussion, George Duke on keyboards, plus horn
arrangements by Jerry Hey & the Seawind horn section.
Some of the background vocals are being done by Philip Bailey & Geoge Duke, accompanied by other
backing vocalists, which are Jeffrey Osborne (on "It's Our Time") & Sister Sledge (on "Desire")
