Ferry Maat’s Soul Show was for more than 30 years a success formula, not just for his listeners, but also in radio land. He is the man who inspired many DJ’s for more than a generation. For his DJ work he received several prizes and awards, the most important ones, the Golden Harp (awarded by Buma Culture), and Marconi Oeuvre Award 2007 (Radio Professional Award) and he even was knighted by the Dutch Queen in 2008 in the Order of Orange Nassau. The ‘Ferry Maat's Soul Show' has been broadcasted on several radio stations like: Radio North Sea International, Tros Radio 3, Radio 10, Radio 538, Radio Veronica and can now be heard on Arrow Jazz FM.
